ORANGE PARK, FLA – Kelvin Vance Jones, 72, of Orange Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Benton, Arkansas and moved to Orange Park in 1971 while serving in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Jones was a member of Island View Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife, Thelma Dare Jones of the home, a native of the Ashley’s Grove community in Northampton County; one son, Gregory Jones; two daughters, Beth Coffman and Andrea Cruise-Jones; and a granddaughter, Danielle Coffman.

Visitation will be held, 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Island View Baptist Church, 900 Park Ave, Orange Park, with the Rev. Kevin Collison officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013.
