CHESAPEAKE, VA – Patricia A. “Patsy” Carr departed this life peacefully at her home on January 9, 2013 and was welcomed into heaven by her father, Vernon H. Carr, Sr. and mother, Patricia Carr Bailey.
She is survived by her sisters, Dianna C. Harrell and husband, Ray, of Ahoskie, NC and Jeryl Leigh Howell and husband, Joe, of Prince George, VA; brother, Vernon H. “Fuzzy” Carr, Jr. and wife, Janet of Suffolk, VA; nephews Brian Harrell and wife Ruth, Shawn Howell and wife Heather, Jason Howell and wife Sarah, and Trey Carr; niece Tracie Martin; great-nieces and nephews, Jordan Martin, Peighton, Jase, Paxtyn, Avery and Addie Howell, Taylor, Kennedy and Tanner Carr.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel by Pastors Nelson Fields and T. M. Frye. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
