MURFREESBORO– Earl Trent Jr., 79, of Murfreesboro died Tuesday, December 18, 2012.  He served in the Air Force for 26 years retiring from Langley Air Force Base,Hampton,VA with an honorable discharge.

He was born in Allock, Kentucky, November 9, 1933, son of the late Wilma and Earl Trent, Sr. and was, also, preceded in death by daughter,Sharon, and his brother, Charles.

Mr. Trent is survived by his wife, Daynelle Trent of Murfreesboro. His extended family includes a daughter, Tina Trent of Dallas, Texas; sons David and Ronnie Trent of Texas; also, Walter and Rhea Wainwrignt of Newport News, VA; Brooks and Paula Wainwright of Hampton, VA;  Glenn Armstrong of Murfreesboro; Jimmy Armstrong of St. Pete, FL; Sherry A. Morris of Philadelphia, PA; and grandchildren, Alex, Luke, Zachary, Joshua, Katie, Rion Dante, Danielle, Kimberly, and Stephanie.

A Memorial Service will be held at Murfreesboro Baptist Church on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Lee Canipe officiating.  There will be no graveside service.

After the service a brief visitation will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Murfreesboro Baptist Church Building Fund.
