BOYKINS, VA – Lawrence V. Garris, 82, of Boykins, VA died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Nansemond Pointe Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center, Suffolk, VA. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at New Bethel Baptist Church, Boykins, VA. Burial will be in the Oak Grove A.M. E. Church Cemetery, Como. Faison’s Funeral Home, Seaboard, is handling the arrangements.
