Words of thanks

To The Editor:

The Ahoskie Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. expresses sincere gratitude and thanks to the citizens of the Roanoke-Chowan area for your support and participation in our two day events commemorating the Life and Legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

We, the Ahoskie Alumnae Chapter sponsored the 32nd Annual Tribute to Dr. King on Sunday, January 15, and on Monday, January 16, a March and Celebration was given in honor of Dr. King and celebrating his 83rd birthday.

The Ahoskie Alumnae Chapter gives special thanks to the following:

New Ahoskie Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor C. David Stackhouse, and Mrs. Angela Renee Stackhouse for opening friendly doors welcoming the Ahoskie Alumnae Chapter to their facilities to have the two day events.

An additional word of appreciation is extended to the following individuals and groups for their support, assistance and participation:
