Ezzell Trucking awarded Enviva contract

HARRELLS, NC – A 50-year-old company based in Sampson County will soon add Ahoskie to its list of business locations.

Ezzell Trucking has been awarded the Enviva LP contract to transport wood pellets to Chesapeake, VA and will be opening a new location in Ahoskie in October.

Ezzell Trucking, a family-owned business, was founded in 1951 in Harrells, NC with a single tractor-trailer. Over the years, they have expanded into the following North Carolina locations in addition to their corporate office in Harrells: Wilmington, Greenville, Goldsboro, Laurinburg, and Marshville.

Enviva LP is expected to begin production at its Ahoskie plant in October or early November.
