ROANOKE RAPIDS – Sandra Soles Bridgers, 42, of 117 Northside Drive, Roanoke Rapids, died Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids.

Mrs. Bridgers was born in Petersburg, VA and was an employee of the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District at Chaloner Middle School.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Charles Bridgers; a daughter, Slayton Alexandra Bridgers of Roanoke Rapids; her mother and step father, Linda and Thomas Tolson of Morehead City; her father and step mother, Bobby W. and Laura Soles of Richmond, VA; a sister, Brandi Walton and her husband, Brad, of Roanoke Rapids; a brother, Ross Boyer and his wife, Jessica, of Roanoke Rapids; and two nephews, Dustin Harrell and Logan Walton of Roanoke Rapids.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday January 31, 2011 in First Presbyterian Church, Roanoke Rapids, with Rev. Joe Sandoval officiating.

The family will receive following the services at 614 Roanoke Ave., Roanoke Rapids.
